Wesley Parkinson is the founding member of The Closing Office Title Agency. He has worked in the Title Insurance industry for 10 years in accounting, auditing, and sales. Wes grew up and attended high school and Ludington, Michigan and went on to receive his bachelor's degree in business/finance. He now resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Bill Gelineau is a licensed Michigan Title Producer and manages the Title Production Team. Prior to joining The Closing Office in August 2008, he worked in a dual capacity at the State Office of First American Title Insurance Company - assisting both the Underwriting Staff and the Michigan Archive Department, which handles file coordination for the claims and policy production for closed agents.
Previous positions in a 10-year career with First American included coordination of joint-venture agents in a four-state area, Director of the Michigan-Indiana Order Center, and also working in the West Michigan Title Production group as both title and tax examiner. Other career positions include nine years as owner of the former Apple Blossom Restaurant in Grand Rapids, and a decade in management with VICORP, Inc., one of the nation's largest restaurant management companies.
Having attending both the University of Michigan and Wayne State University with a speciality in Michigan History, he and his wife Donna live in Lowell. Six adult children live in both Michigan and Florida.
Bill is a member, coordinater, or supporter of multiple organizations, including the National Geographic Society, the Arbor Day Foundation, the West Michigan Chapter of the March of Dimes, the Grand Valley Blood Program, and is a former Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Michigan.
Jennifer is a Full Service Escrow Closer. She has worked in the Title Industry for 9 years. She grew up locally and lives in the Grand Rapids Area with her three children Alisha (17) Tyler (7) and Paige (4).
Lauren has worked in the Title Industry since 1999. She has worked on the Escrow side her entire career, until recently having joined The Closing Office Title Team, assisting the Lead Examiner. Lauren is originally from Rockford, IL, and has lived in Grand Rapids since 1990. She is married to Jeremy and they have 1 son, Jordan.
Traci has been in the title insurance business since 1998 as an escrow closer. Traci was previously with First American Title and joined The Closing Office Title Agency January 1, 2010. She takes pride in her customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships with her clients and looks very forward for the opportunity to expand her customer base. Traci lives in Lowell with her three children Alec 18, Ian 15 and Brooke 12.
Vivian has worked in the title industry since 1998 for both a large underwriter as well as a local agency. Prior to starting in the title industry Viv had her real estate license 10 years. Vivian joined The Closing Office Title Agency in 2005 when Wes purchased the business. She currently assists in order entry, title revisions, document recordings, final policies and account reconciliation.
